Yes, they are fake. From what I have read, the Revolution's graphics wont be much better than those of the Gamecube.

Ha...all the consoles will seem redundant when compared to the new DirectX 10 graphics cards such as the G80 by Nvidia. google "crytek + directx 10"... you'll see what I mean... Ofcourse, you can buy 4 consoles for the price of next-gen pc.

Don't any of you look at official sites?!? Nintendo have already stated that they are not using a high definition graphics card and they have also admitted that the graphics are far inferior to those of the PS3 and the Xbox 360. They are banking on their innovation and games, not graphics. All from the mouth of the head of Nintendo.

These are probably fake. But I don't think that we should all be going as far as to say that the Revolution's graphics won't be able to stack up to these. The fact is, we don't know how the graphics will look; Nintendo has not released a single picture of them.

I do know this: Before the Gamecube launched, everyone thought it was going to have bad graphics compared to the other consoles, right? Now tell me, do Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4 look like they were made on a graphically inferior console? So don't go saying that the Revolution's graphics will look crappy, okay?

Also, Nintendo's been in the game for 2 decades; I think they know the industry pretty well. They realize that making a graphically inferior console might not sell to well; they could get away with it on handhelds, but no the home systems. And there hasn't been a graphically inferior Nintendo console throughout their history, right?

Third, IGN talked to developers, who said that the will have twice the CPU and GPU of the Cube. So multiply how good Resident Evil 4 will look by two...that doesn't sound bad at all, come to think.

Fourth, we haven't ruled out displacement mapping for the Revolution: Nintendo filed a patent on it, and who knows what they could do with it?

Finally, even if the Revolution does have bad graphics, game developers don't seem to mind. EA, Capcom, Koei, Konami, Lucas Arts, Sega, Square Enix, THQ and Ubisoft, among others, have all pledged support for the system, thereby ensuring that the Rev will at least get the 3rd Party support Gamecube never had.

So in conclusion, who is to say the Revolution will have bad graphics compared to its competition. While we know it won't output in HD, that shouldn't be a huge problem: 9 out of 10 American households don't have an HDTV, and I know from personal experience a game can still look great on an HDTV, even if it is only outputting in 480p. So to all you naysayers out there, don't be to early to say the Revolution will have bad graphics.

Hey u guys dont know what u r saying. First of all what was the system all of u got when u were probably 6, 7, and even 8 years old. it was a SUPER NINTENDO. just because game cube didnt come out with lots of games u dont have to talk **** about it. first of all sony is a brand of TV,DVD,VCR,COMPUTER,CELL PHONES and lots of other **** not a video game brand wheh nintendo 64 came out ****ing sony had to be jelous and make ps1 which i hated it sucked.than when game cube and ps2 came out microsoft also became jelous and made xbox. microsoft is a computer brand not a video game brand. This is a message of the truth sony and microsoft is jelous and they dont have no reasons to be making video games.
