Gamestop Showing Pre-release Date of Nintendo Revolution Games |

We have discovered Gamestop.com has added Nintendo Revolution games to their online catalog.
The video game retailer currently has the following titles listed:
- Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Revolution
- Legend of Zelda: Revolution
- Mario Revolution
- Metroid Prime 3
- Super Smash Brothers: Revolution
Though their online disclaimer acknowledges that the “content is based on the best available information on price, and release date,” a March pre-release would be the earliest we have seen.
Recent rumours have set the launch date as mid to early spring of 2006. If Gamestop is correct, a March release date would be the most specific timeframe thus far.
Another, and probably more plausible explanation would be, Gamestop has added a generic pre-release dates until they could determine a more accurate date. Either way Gamestop is the first retailer to include Nintendo Revolution titles
Until Nintendo and game publishers offers Official information, NintendoRevolution.ca can only speculate as the significance of the Gamstop listings. The movement we hear of any information regarding the release date, price, or any other noteworthy information about the Nintendo Revolution, we’ll let you all know.

I would love to see it come out as early as April- but that doesn't look likely.
Consider this- Nintendo is planning on releasing the Rev after the PS3. Sony hasn't called out a specific date (that I know of), but signs point to it not being anywhere near Spring 06. Of course, Nintendo could be pulling a fast one and will 'surprise' everyone by releasing the Rev earlier, but that doesn't seem likely. Considering the PS3 already has footage of its games in action, and the Rev doesn't even have a screenshot- its most likely that the Rev won't be ready till late 06 at the earliest.
And slow ol' nintendo hasn't even released the real name of the Rev---so getting our hopes up for its release within the next 8 months is a bunch of hooey
this is sad- because SSBM fans everywhere are going to have to keep playing the same game they have been for the last 4 years

Actually the reason nintendo hasn't shown any screen shots is because they don't like to show works in progress. When they get a game functioning fully they will show some screens.
