E3 2011: Zelda's 25th Anniversary gets orchestral tour |
Listed in: News Tags: e3 2011, Nintendo, Zelda

Speculation was rampant the last few weeks as to what Nintendo would do for Zelda's 25th Anniversary, and we finally know exactly what it is they're doing to celebrate the storied franchise.
Nintendo announced that live, orchestral concerts would take place all around the world for Zelda music. Fans got a sneak peek of what to expect at their press conference, as Nintnedo had a live orchestra playing Zelda tunes. The publisher didn't say what cities the tour would hit, but we can assume that all major concert locations will be covered.
On top of that, Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX will hit the eShop later in the day, for the price of $5.99. A brand new Four Swords adventure will also be releasing this September on DSiWare for free.
There were rumors a while ago that said Nintendo would roll out a remake of A Link to the Past, but sadly that didn't happen. A orchestral tour around the world is pretty cool, though.
