Details about the Nintendo Revolution have been few and far between - perhaps Nintendo thinks that tight lips will sink the competitor's ships. But in an interview with Yahoo! News Japan this week, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata spoke out about the Revolution's expected price tag. According to Iwata, the Revolution will slide in underneath the Xbox 360's price range and will definitely be under 9. Could the lower price tag make up for the fact that the Revolution will be released far behind the Xbox 360 and PS3? Only time will tell...

Duh... Even developers already stated it should be around $150

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

thats good, i guess. i kinda already knew that. but i sure hope it's 150.00 or lower. like the cheapest launch console in a long time. i hope its free! that would be the craziest thing, but i would hate that too. anyone have word on pre-ordering the revolution? i would hate to but be willing to [if it means i could get a revolution faster] camp out in front of circuit city. i think that nintendo is gonna sell a ton of revolutions, plenty more than their goal. ----that is all

I already plan on camping out. I want to be the first person to have one in Washington State.

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

Too bad that's all it's worth

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

Wow that is pretty cheap... You can even build a house out of them!

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

In Hong Kong, Their is no such things a camping out. We're not much a gaming place. In a way it is, but not much people are willing to buy consoles if they don't have fakes for sale. Cheap ****s.
If you know people, just call them and tell them to reserve one for you.

Silly people.... it can't be $150 or lower.... it will be $150 to its standard Nintendo launch price of $200. There is no way in hell a next gen system can launch for $99 that price point would be suicidal.

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

Yeah, Nintendo is still a company that likes to make money. And if they can sell it for the good ol classic 199, then they will.

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

To make a Toaster cost more money, then making a Nintendo Revolution System.

The max I will pay is $50, no more than that.

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

Well then, I guess you will be waiting a while.

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

Why can't they sell it at 99? The DS is already a huge success and they can sell the console at a loss and regain it next year. Remember, the Revolution is supposed to go along with another system, Nintendo is not in to beat Microsoft or Sony, they are just sitting in the background watching the 2 companies knock one of eachother out.

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

I highly dount Nitendo will sell their new console at such a loss...thats less then what they are selling the DS for...

by - 0000-00-00 00:00:00

then thats good news because i think they can sell it at 99 bucks and here's how they get their money back: "VIRTUAL CONSOLE"

if they sell all those classic memories i will buy those up like... like... like.........
>>>insert smart remark here<<<

and by the end of the year, nintendo could have a fraction of the sells but many times more profit. the virtual console with a kajillion games that people will buy just for the memories, is the perfect cash earning scam!

(except in a normal scam, you feel bad about being ripped off)
