Wii homebrew - Homebrew Filter r34 |
Listed in: Homebrew Applications Tags: hamachi-mp, homebrew channel, homebrew filter
Wii owners who have enabled their Nintendo consoles to run homebrew games and apps will have probably come across Team Twiizers' Homebrew Channel at one time or another. For those who haven't, Homebrew Channel is a self-updating homebrew application loader that lets users load homebrew applications without having to run an exploit every time.
There are a number of alternative apps that offer pretty much the same functionality as the Homebrew Channel, one of which is Homebrew Filter by Wii coder hamachi-mp. Homebrew Filter features support for NTFS file systems as well as GameCube homebrew and custom themes. The lates version, r34, further extends the app's funcionality with the addition of the following:
- Fixed TCP bug
- Meta.xml can be edited within Homebrew Filter
- Unlike the HBC, users can now disable (and re-enable) the automatic Network initialization during startup
- Update information for new revisions can now be disabled (and re-enabled)
- Functions of the PLUS/MINUS and RIGHT/LEFT navigation buttons can be exchanged
