Nintendo isn't keeping the price drops restricted to their Wii home video console. The Big N also announced that two of its first-party titles, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Party, will be getting their prices slashed as well.
Starting April 25, both games will be getting US$ 10 price drops, bringing the games' price points down to US$ 39.99 each. This latest price cut comes as Nintendo is widely expected to announce a new HD console at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Wii Sports Resort features a dozen resort-themed activities such as golf, basketball, archery, wakeboarding and even swordplay According to Nintendo, the game has sold more than 10.7 million units in the United States alone since it launched in 2009.
Wii Party, on the other hand, packs 13 party game modes and more than 80 minigames including interactive twists on popular board games like bingo. There are also more Wiimote-focused games like Animal Tracker, which challenges them to pick up the Wii Remote making the correct animal sound.
