With the Wii U's release getting closer and closer, Nintendo is making sure that the Wii is getting a suitably grand last hurrah. One of the last few major first-party releases the Wii will be seeing is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Nintendo is making it extra special for gamers with the announcement of a new gold controller bundle.

A special The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword bundle will hit retail shelves on November 20 alongside the game's vanilla edition. The special bundle will come with a gold Wii Remote Plus controller which won't be available for sale as a separate item. The bundle will be available for US$ 69.99.

First run copies of both the regular edition and the special bundle will also include a CD packed with special arrangements from the Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert.

However
DS - 148 million - interesting

Why should I need yet another controller, just because its golden? come on - this is silly! And there isn't even a triforce on it - what a shame...

1. No one NEEDS the controller. It's only for those people that would WANT it.

2. There is a triforce on it. Can you not see the big huge logo right in the middle of the controller? Granted the speaker holes kind of screw it up.
