From the "it's new to me department" comes a video on google video, a 1 minute 15 second long clip consisting of the various applications of the controller. Starting off with some basic movement and viewing of 3d space, to Mario, Zelda, and F-Zero. The sword slashing is a plus too. Overall, I am very impressed and love to see any new information on the Revolution whenever I can.

You can watch the video [here].

YES!!!!!!, i thought it would be gimmicky, but wow Nintendo has never let me down with that thing...ive never thought of its use like that as well...

Im starting to consider a revolution more and more everyday.

I like the idea they are want to show us with the movie, but it is really fake and definitly made by amateurs. Nintendo would never publish a movie about there Revolution controller that way :S

Not that i don't like the controller, it's awesome. But the movie is just too fake ;)

lol, well, doesn't matter. shows to the users how precise and cool the gameplays will be

I don't think F-Zero can be played that way, your hand would cover the sensor if you held the controller that way. Unless there is more than one sensor in the device that is, then it's possible.

You forget that the controller features a tilt sensor as well. This was one of the first things I thought of when I read that; turning it sideways and holding it like a steering wheel. You could also use it like a flight yoke if you held it vertically.

I didn't know that. I thought it only had the IR thing in it.

I don't think the sensor has to be directly facing the receiver...that would be ridiculously confining of the controller's range of movements.
