Not a lot of details here, folks, but the buzz is that Nintendo is gonna put out some sort of router-like device that plugs into a USB port and allows both the Nintendo Revolution and the DS to connect to the Nintendo WiFi Network. It sounds like the device is meant to target folks who don’t already have a wireless router, although some are speculating the device itself will have some sort of special functionality in addition to merely providing wireless connection.

It does seem odd that anyone would want to get a special Nintendo-branded router instead of a regular old router that’ll work with lots of other things besides Nintendo devices, so we’ll have to keep our ears to the ground and find out what the dealio is.
