Wii U Makes A Profit After One Game Is Purchased |

Sure, it might be a shock enough that Nintendo seems to be falling in line with the competition when it comes to the price plan of the Wii U, but according to an interview with Reggie Fils-Aime he tells compamny fans that you should hold your horses before you begin to pass judgement. In his own words "As soon as we get the consumer to buy one piece of software, then that entire transaction becomes profit positive," which is really probably the single smartest way to price out a game console if you possibly can afford to do so without making consumers to angry. After all, as soon as we get a new machine, we're going to at least want to have one brand new game to play on it, so really right from the beginning that profit is going to set right in for Nintendo.
While not much has really been said as to whether he was discussing the 8GB basic or 32GB deluxe model while making this statement, it's still a pretty solid way to set up a reasonable tag for their machine. Considering many of the flagship Wii U game reviews have been in the positive, you can bet gamers will be more than ready to buy a new title rather quickly. Certainly the original Wii suffered due to low attachment rates with the inclusion of Wii Sports in the box, Nintendo hopes to give us a much better reason than just Nintendo Land to take their side in the next generation. No matter how you slice it, these Mario devs are making money!
