Nintendo is releasing some new accessories in the coming weeks that should help you get the most out of your Wii U’s GamePad.

Nintendo’s upcoming accessories for the Wii U’s multi-functional controller will come via the Wii U GamePad Accessory Set.  The set has an official release date of February 4th and will carry a suggested retail price of $12.99.  What do you get for that price? The following:

• a stylus that is similar in format to a fountain pen
• a GamePad screen protector
• a cleaning cloth

The stylus could definitely come in handy if you are tired of using your greasy fingers on the GamePad’s touch screen.  The screen protector should protect against little nicks and scratches, while the cleaning cloth should be serviceable for wiping all of the nasty crud off the screen.  Some Wii U owners have complained about the GamePad’s responsiveness and sensitivity, so the stylus could help improve overall performance in that regard.
