Nintendo Direct Brings a Pile of New Games |

Well, another Nintendo Direct event has come and gone, and somehow Nintendo managed to pack even more big news into it. Last time we learned about two Zelda games and a new Mario title for Wii U, but this week’s presentation focused heavily on the Nintendo 3DS.
If you’re not the type of person that can sit through an entire Nintendo Direct due to time constraints or apathy, here are some of the high points:
- New Mario Golf due on 3DS this summer
- New Mario & Luigi RPG also due on 3DS this summer
- Luigi-centric DLC for New Super Mario Bros. U coming “later this year”
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf has a release date – June 9
- Yes, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has multiplayer. And co-op!
That’s pretty much the gist. Nothing super surprising, since we generally expect Nintendo to release more franchise titles, but still nice to know that the 3DS has some solid software coming. Also—who else is excited for the first bit of real Wii U DLC?
