Nintendo’s Wii U Preview Event was certainly eventful, as the gaming giant unveiled a list of 50-plus titles set to be released in the coming months.  One of those titles – Shin’en’s Nano Assault Neo – was an unexpected, but pleasant surprise. 

If you are a Nintendo 3DS owner, you might be familiar with the Nano Assault name, as the shooter was released for the 3DS last December.  For the time being, it’s not quite clear if Nano Assault Neo will be a sequel to the original 3DS version, or if it will simply be a title optimized for the Wii U. Regardless, its addition to the Wii U gaming lineup should help bolster the upcoming console’s portfolio.

The Wii U will officially launch on November 18 in the North America and November 30 in Europe.  An official release date for Nano Assault Neo has not be disclosed, but it should fall into the release window of somewhere between November 18 and March of next year.
