Homebrew coder ZodTTD has released a huge update for vlc4iphone, a port of VideoLAN VLC media player's source code for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Notable features on the latest release includes a new GUI, support for firmware 2.x and 3.x and some new features.

A new Wii-Linux distro is out from developer Bert Jan. It's has the existing Debian/Whiite package as its foundation, but it has Xorg running on top of it. The distro is appropriately named xwhiite. Details after the link.

iPhone coding whiz ZodTTD has finally release vlc4iphone to the public. The last release was back in September - the v1.0.0 Beta version. Ever since then, he's been a bit of a dilemma due to the appearance of mplayer. That's not stopping ZodTTD though, as he assumes that some users would still want to use vlc4iphone's unique features like the ShoutCast Internet radio browser/player, or the ability to stream video and audio content from PC to iPhone.

The P86 Team is back with a new release for their nifty homebrew app for the PSP, TVSP 0.3b. It's got several changes that's sure to interest you. PSP Slim support anyone? This one's finally got it. There's still more to be had so do check out what else is in the changelog after the jump.
