It doesn't even have to be a real dog. Apparently, killing a dog in a video game is disgusting enough. This is according to the Animal Rights Club of the Academy of Notre Dame, who is protesting the canine killing spree in Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS), saying that killing animals should not be a form of entertainment. Wow, the game nitpicking doesn't stop. |

The wait is over! Because there's nothing to wait for anymore. It seems that plans to release World in Conflict: Soviet Assault for the consoles were scrapped by Ubisoft. Sad cookie.Details after the link. |

The console versions for World in Conflict has been very conflicted ever since. From rumored ports, to confirmation, to expected release windows, to actual release delays, it's looking highly unlikely that it's not gonna do the expected crossover, this, despite the recent hopes that it will finally come to the consoles after Ubisoft bought Massive and took the franchise with them. |

The future of a lot of titles were left in limbo due to Activision
Blizzard's streamlining of Vivendi's operations. While some of them
eventually found other publishers, A2M's PS3 and Xbox 360 offering WET, wasn't one of them. Not
having a definite publisher hasn't stopped A2M from working on the
game, though. They even showed off an 8-minute gameplay video during
the recent Montreal International Game Summit. Check it out after the jump. |

Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS) was
originally intended to be out for a Christmas release, but has now been
moved back to a June 2009 launch. Why the delay? Because the devs
wanted more creepiness. Read all about it in the full article. |

The Red Baron was first known to have been rated by the ESRB back in April, and was later on confirmed to arrive on the PSN on September. However, there rings out an eerie absence of the game's presence, and it's looking like it's also a casualty of the Activision-Vivendi merger. What gives? Find out after the jump. |

Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick explains why they decided not to retain all of Vivendi's games when the two companies merged. The reason? The games just weren't "exploitable" enough. More in the full article. |
