Sunbathing for your health can extend a woman's lifespan - Image 1Women who enjoy sunbathing may actually be doing it more for their health rather than looking good. In a recent study by researchers from King's College London, it was discovered that women who have higher levels of vitamin D tend to be healthier than others, as well as be "biologically younger" than others.

Brent Richards, lead researcher of the study, said that from the 2,160 women aged 18 to 79 included in the study, it was concluded that sunlight might also play a role on age-related illnesses such as heart disease. Check out the full article after the jump!
