Games Convention 2007 in Leipzig is definitely the event, but there's no need to fret if Germany is a wee bit too far. We bring you the hottest games that surface during this massive gathering of gamers and those in the industry - right now, we bring you International Track & Field for the DS! From Sumo Digital, known for OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast ports and recent PSN hit Super Rub a Dub, comes an exciting title sure to stretch your legs. Some of us remember Konami's first International Track & Field dating back to 1996 in the early days of Sony's PlayStation; a good remake, or even a simple port would do for some nostalgic moments. Info is scarce for now, but we'll make sure to keep you posted. We're just as excited as you when it comes to some good 'ol running and dashing on the DS. |

Who would have thought that a group of rubber duckies could actually make it as one of the best downloadable games ever to land on Sony's PlayStation 3? Apparently, Sumo Digital did, hence the creation of Super Rub-a-Dub. "...Sheffield Hallam University came to us with a technology demo," he explains. "Any objects within the water in this prototype were affected by the flow, and the potential was great... If you're a duck, why not rescue some ducklings? It gives you a purpose and a reason!" Such simple logic, and yet it turned out so brilliantly. We guess great things come from small beginnings, indeed, then. In case you still haven't jumped aboard the... er - duck wagon, there are over 60 levels to enjoy in Super Rub-a-Dub. In any case, we've grabbed some neat screenshots of the game, too, for your viewing pleasure. |

This next one is about video game title Driver 76 and is more for our readers in other parts of the world aside from North America. Because you see, the open-environment game from Ubisoft and Sumo Digital has already shipped to most retail stores across the country. On the other hand, Europe will be getting it two days from now (May 11). But still, in case some of you are still weighing your options if you will get this game or not (it's always being compared to the Grand Theft Auto franchise), feel free as well to take watch the video below. What we have above are four new screenshots for the title and the video below is another trailer for Driver 76. As always, the video sports the funky sound and stylings of the 70s era coupled with driving and shooting action that never go out of style. |

Ubisoft and Sumo Digital's Driver 76 is currently out for the PSP - in North America atleast. GamesRadar has just posted a custom gameplay video for the video game. The fifth video game title of the Driver series and prequel to Driver: Parallel Lines, Driver 76 is looking to impress. It features an open-world environment (which is comparable to GTA's sandbox) and centers on driving and shooting gameplay. The new trailer showcases the first couple of missions - meeting up with Slink and hijacking a fish truck. Driving around in a very retro lavender convertible would be sweet - only if it wasn't stolen. Driver 76 for the PlayStation Portable is set for release in May 11 for Europe. Anyway, you can check out the video by clicking the Read link below. Enjoy! |
