Even with Super Smash Bros. Brawl being delayed, there's no doubt that many fans and Nintendo Wii owners are looking forward to the sequel that pits each of Nintendo's franchises against each other. And to get us all hyped about the game's story mode, the Subspace Emissary, here are three gameplay videos of the single-player adventures of Pit, Donkey Kong and Kirby, as well as a video of a normal match in action. Awesome!
Looking at the videos, it's safe to say that the guys over at Sora and Nintendo Company Ltd. kept what made the series so fun to play intact, while giving the entire thing a next-gen makeover. Pit definitely looks like a monster to play, having the best of both worlds with his swords and bow. The star of the show, however, has got to be Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, with their ridiculously-awesome intro-cutscene. Peanut-shooting pistols for the win! Enough spoilers from us, enjoy the videos! |

Black planes can get really famous whenever the government reveals one of them. Think about the U-2 spyplane of the 1950s; a band's named after that plane now. Then there's the SR-71 Blackbird. The X-men's plane looks awfully similar to the SR-71. Then there's the F-117; during the first Iraq war, it literally became the poster boy for the whole war effort. The first Iraq war was around fifteen years ago. Only three aircraft have been introduced since. One was Polecat. Another was Northrop Grumman’s Tacit Blue, nicknamed "the Whale." The third was Boeing’s Bird of Prey, which tested visual stealth strategies, including shaping that minimizes shadows and contrast and, rumor has it, body illumination that allows it to blend into its background. This does not mean, however, that the black-aircraft community is dormant. Google Earth reveals a newly constructed additional runway and multiple new hangars and buildings at the base. Increased activity? It may mostly be educated speculation but the nice folks at Popular Science have featured a list of probable planes that are currently being tested at the famous site. Read on to see concept images of the planes and the evidence and details surrounding them (click on the Full Article link below). |

Valk has released an alpha version of his homebrew game for the PSP, PSPace. PSPace is a port of the 2d space shooter game for the PC, 'Subspace'. Subspace was a freeware PC game in the space shooter genre, and features a top-down view. The original Subspace was a Massively Multiplayer Online game (MMO), so could we see Internet play in future versions? Watch this space and perhaps we'll find out. Here's what Valk said: "This is an alpha of a project that I have been toying around with for a few months. It doesn't have much functionality but I would like some feedback as far as to continue work on it. It's the beginnings of a clone of Subspace, a game that has been around for more than 10 years for the PC. Either way, any feedback would be greatly appreciated." This is just an alpha, and currently there are no objectives or missions, but you can explore the map and get used to the controls. It's just a small taster of what's to come!
