About a year ago, we first heard rumblings that CDProjekt's PC RPG, The Witcher, would be making a trip down to Xbox 360 alley. They previously said it was scheduled for "an early December release," and now, we get an actual release date! According to a product listing on GameStop, the peripheral is now available for pre-order and is scheduled for release on December 1.

Good news for those who use Linux on their PlayStation 3s!  Yellow Dog Linux v6.1 has been released, marking the final release from Terra Soft, and the first by Fixstars. Version 6.1 an updated Firefox and OpenOffice.org, and features ps3vram functionality, enabling the use of PS3 video RAM for temporary storage or swap.

Here's a cool fact about Smart Bomb Interactive's brand new Snoopy game, Snoopy WWI Flying Ace, it owes more to McGuyver, The A-Team and the Lego series than it does to Warhawk. Could this hint at some sort of vehicle or weapon creation and customisation aspect to the game? Are there plans for DLC? Who would win in a knock down, drag out fight to the finish between Snoopy and Lucy?

This is just getting ridiculous. Yet another company is suing Nintendo for its Wiimote tech. The lawsuit claims that the Wiimote is violating their patent for a video game controller.
