Some of us want to tinker with savedata to make our lives easier when playing games. However, the process has become much complicated, if not impossible, after PSP FW 1.5. Good thing though that homebrew coder Hellcat released a new plugin that addresses exactly that.Called Savegame Deemer, this allows the PlayStation Portable to save any savedata in unencrypted form as well as the normal way. For more details, check out the full article by clicking the "read more" link below. Download: Savegame Deemer Visit: QJ PSP Development Forum |

Man, that was quick. PSP homebrew icon Dark AleX has just released the first update for the new 3.80 M33 custom firmware. Note that 3.80 M33-2 requires 3.80 M33 to work. This update brings a fix for the new custom firmware's icon issue as well as a necessary fix for homebrew that report the PSP's CPU speed. And for this release, version 1.5.3, the dev tweaked with a number of things, aside from the cosmetic changes. If you aren't familiar with Extreme Link, it's a Windows application that allows for easy access and control over things like game saves, homebrew, and the other stuff in the memory card. Anyway, check out the changelog for version 1.5.3:

One of QJ.Net Forums' regular devs is back with an updated version of PSPsokoban. For those who may not be into this kind of homebrew game lately, let us introduce you to shadow77340's creation: PSPsokoban. This homebrew is a port of mariosokoban and is faithful to the rules of traditional Japanese puzzle game Sokoban. Among the many improvements implemented in PSPsokoban v0.6, we're kind most interested in the new characters that have been added in this version. In the previous release, we believe that there were around 10 popular video game characters included in the homebrew. This time, characters like Shrek, Shadow and Bomberman among others have also been added. And as for the specific improvements, we posted the complete changelog for PSPsokoban v0.6 below. Meanwhile, just be sure to go over the Readme file first before playing, for controls and other important details. PSPsokoban v0.6 changelog:

Xpack and cloudpjff7 have been hard at work making a new version of FileFlasher, the Lua-based flashing app. He's recently come up with version 2 of the FileFlasher, and there are a ton of changes made to the PSP application to give everyone a quality piece of programming. As always, apps with flashing capabilities do have a potential of bricking your PlayStation Portables, so take some precautions, check the readme, and do what you have to to lessen the chances of bricking. In any event, the rather lengthy changelog is below. Enjoy your download, and happy flashing! Changes made in v 2.0

Homebrew developer shadow77340 (who is just a 14-year old French boy mind you), just updated Pspsokoban to v0.5 over at the QJ.Net Forums. This is a game that is pretty much straightforward - a mariosokoban port that remains faithful to the rules of the traditional Japanese transport puzzle game Sokoban. Having said that, don't get the impression that PSPsokoban won't be able to deliver a few surprises. According to shadow77340, there are 10 popular video game characters that appear in this homebrew including Link, Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, Goku and others.
The official changelog for PSPsokoban v0.5 is as follows:
