Team Matrix (I hear they're old hands at PS2 modding) is reportedly
working on delivering a solution for the storage problems that a lot of
Wii owners have complained about since Nintendo isn't really doing
anything concrete about it yet. The solution here is called WiiZii, a plug and play mod that lets you connect an external HDD via SATA to your Wii. |

First, a warning: do not try this at home. Now, ever noticed how your sexy MacBook Air only has one USB port? Well, one guy found that it actually supports up to three USB ports - but you have to crack open your MacBook Air and mess with the hardware to do it, hence the warning. If you really must know, you can check out how they did it by reading the full article after the "read more" link below. |

If you burn a lot of DVDs and you're looking for the fastest rig out there which will save you precious time, Samsung has something that might be of interest. It just launched its new SH-S203N DVD+R burner and the Korean consumer electronics giant says it's the fastest drive of its kind currently in the market. For normal DVD writing, you can go as fast as 20xX with the SH-S203N. You can go 16X for dual-layer DVDs and 12X for DVD RAMs. It also supports LightScribe to make the discs you've recorded on more easily identifiable. It also sports a SATA connection to boot. Additional features include Double Optimum Power Control3 which balances the laser power on the sides of the disc for a better writing performance, Tilt Actuator Compensation2 (TAC) for preferred writing condition when interacting with the objective lens, and a lot more. The SH-S203N sells for US$ 79.99 and is in stores nationwide. |
