Here's an update to an extremely useful little PRX, AutoStart from developer roe-ur-boat. This plugin lets you configure your PSP's buttons to fire up specified games and programs. This version has a new GUI, with all the bugs from the previous versions all squished. Unfortunately, this is also the program's last release. More details in the full article.

Homebrew developer roe-ur-boat recently visited the QJ.NET forums and informed us that the latest build to AutoStart PRX is now finally available for download. Version 4 of the homebrew plug-in includes several new features which extends the program's functionality to a considerable degree. Developer roe-ur-boat visited the QJ.NET Forums earlier to release the AutoStart PRX V3 homebrew plugin for the PSP. Among other functions, this new app will enable you to activate your choice of homebrew with a few simple button commands during the PSP's startup. Details are available in the full article.

Those of you who've previous downloaded developer roe-ur-boat's homebrew game Basket Catch for the PSP might be interested to know that the latest version of Basket Catch v1.0 is now available for download. Along with some graphical improvements replacing the old stick figures in the previous version, the latest build also adds some neat gameplay elements to step the game up a notch.

Homebrew developer roe-ur-boat has released version 0.91 of the homebrew game Basket Catch. In this game, all you have to do is make your basket carriers catch all the falling eggs. Sounds simple enough? This homebrew game has a catch. Find out in the full version what that catch is along with the complete changelog since version 0.7 of Basket Catch version 0.91.

Homebrew developer roe-ur-boat dropped by once again at QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and release a new version of the project F0 Spacer. This application is owned by Team aXr^2 and the group is composed of roe-ur-boat himself and another coder Acerthief.

This build brings the program up to version 1.1.1. If you missed our last coverage on this application, take note that F0 Spacer allows PlayStation Portable owners to back up the flash0 as well as "dummy" unimportant files in the flash0.

All in all, this program can create up to 2.5 MB more space for its user. Here's the rather short changelog for this build:

• Fixed the bug if you exit by pressing home.
• Flashing/Dumping Loading Speeds even faster!

While this is just a minor update, the improvement done on the loading speed of flashing is very much welcome and necessary. The download below contains a Readme.txt file containing pertinent information about installation and other reminders from Team aXr^2.

F0 Spacer v1.1.1 is compatible with custom firmwares 3.52 M33 and 3.40 OE. Not following the instructions found in the Readme file could cause problems to your PSPs.

Homebrew developer roe-ur-boat dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released version 1.1 of the application F0 Spacer. In a nutshell, this program is designed to backup your PSP's flash0 as well as dummy unimportant files in flash0 to create up to 2.5 MB more space.

Take note that even though just one developer made the release, F0 Spacer belongs to a group of coders collectively known as Team aXr^2. Anyway, the following have changed since the first build which we believe was not publicly released:

• First Release.
• Bugs: Will not backup if you don't create "fpbu" folder in ms0:/.
• v1.1
• Added "about" Section.
• Now the program goes back to the main menu instead of exiting after using a function.
• Flashing Speeds now faster!
• Fixed minor bugs.
• Fixed bug mentioned above (see v1).

F0 Spacer only works with custom firmwares 3.52 M33 and 3.40 OE. Team aXr^2 mentioned that they are not responsible if you brick your PlayStation Portable units while using this because of not following all and any instructions found in the Readme.txt file.
