Here are some more rotten patent-infringement issues to taint Apple's big basket. EMG Technology LLC has filed on Monday a patent-infringement suit against the iPhone company, alleging that they took their patent for the web-surfing technology found on the wonder phone. Details after the jump.

A collaborative project between Microsoft and Research In Motion (RIM) will bring the integration of the different Windows Live services on to the BlackBerry smartphone platform. Beginning this summer, services such as Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger will finally be available for smartphone users who want to access these applications while on the go. The BlackBerry 9000 (you know, the latest BlackBerry that's supposedly being developed with a touchscreen), seems to have gotten a leak. A leaked picture that is. Giving devices names  too similar to the BlackBerry for comfort is lawsuit fodder, and that's what seems to be happening to LG. LG has devices with monikers such as "Black Cherry," names which are too similar to RIM's BlackBerry brand. RIM, of course, files a lawsuit.
