PSP Nikos just dropped us a line the other day to tell us about a recently concluded work. As some of you may have guessed, it's the latest update to the thoroughly compiled Custom PSP Theme Pack series.

Unlike previous custom packs, however, this one does away with its traditional number and letter scheme - PSP Nikos will now be naming these packs according to their monthly release. Here is a list of content to be found in Custom PSP Theme Pack: March 7 Edition:

• New PSP Background Finisher/Finalizer
• New ready-made custom PSP theme styles including: The Black White XMB, The Orange White XMB, The Red Silver XMB, The Black Yellow XMB, Black 32 Encore 4 XMB, Blocki XMB Theme, Blue Vista Orbs, Red Vista Orbs, Zelda XMB Theme, Dark Theme, New VISTA XMB, Gears of War XMB, POPSTATION Portable
• Flash Agent F5 [now with wifi transfer]
• X-Flash source code
• New RCO Editor 1.10
• tgaWave Creative Studio v1.10 [edit bootwaves and normal XMB waves]
• Also the 'updates.txt' has been tidied up!
  

The pack comes in at a whopping 56 MB of space. This pack will solve most of your PSP customization concerns in terms of themes and applications - just remember to view the file README(s) and updates list to minimize PSP bricking incidents due to mishandled apps.

Kudos to PSP Nikos and PSP Viper for this major upgrade, and they, in turn, are giving a big thanks to all the PSP programmers and theme makers out there!

PSP NIKOS and PSP Viper have just dropped by, and you know that means, guys. Yup - we are proud to announce the release of PSP Theme Pack 4: C Edition, which carries over even more goodies than its predecessor. Expect to find these new features when you download the pack:

• New XMB 01-12 bmp merger/splitter with padding Flash Agent F4 [Use Dummy Files]
• Cool ready made XMB waves including: Cool Ultimate Vista looking XMB [By Undertaxx], and Cool Blue XMB [By RaiderXXX]
• 2.71 PRX pack including: Brightness mod, Screen Capture XMB, and Game MP3 Player
• PSP game structure utility modifier
• New TGA Wave Editor which allows you to modify Bootwaves
• Loller Bootwaves Pack - Plasma v2 Battery mod [shows percentage in XMB]
  

The pair reminds everybody (as do we) to view the corresponding READMEs available in the pack's various apps to prevent potential bricking incidents. Well, it isn't from PSP Nikos, but it certainly is worth a look. Instead of your usual PSP theme makers, we've got one from theICE_MAN over at the DCEmu forums. His theme pack includes the following:

• Set of 12 custom backgrounds
• Custom wave
• Icons
• Volume bar
• Battery icon
• Font
• Photo sub-sub icon

Compared to yesterday's blue XMB theme, this one's definitely more subdued, yet vibrant at the same time. The purple look isn't half bad, though we're pretty sure you can still change the background to suit your needs. In any case, give it a try, and let us know what you think.

PSP Nikos is at it again! This time, he has updated his Custom PSP Theme Pack with his buddy PSP Viper, to the B Edition. We were informed by the devs that they have done a major update on the Custom PSP Theme Pack 4: B Edition. The new things you'd find in this updated package are the following:

• New topmenu_plugin.rco files [including freaky 7th icon]
• Cool custom game_plugin.rco, savedata_plugin.rco and photo_plugin.rco files [Made by me]
• New Ultra Sexy XMB Wave pack
• New PSPtm Logo Remover
• New Ultra Cool XMB busy circle mod!
• Original 2.50 firmware vsh folder
• Flash Agent F3 Devhook screen capture for 2.71se-? custom firmware and above!
• New TGAwave Editor

They also mentioned that if you want to use this, there are a couple of warnings that you have to bear in mind. Just what those warnings are? Well, you have to read the readme file that comes with the download. The download is about 31MB and it includes all of the files in the previous theme packs, so if the older versions is taking too much memory, you're free to delete them.

No sooner have we started getting accustomed to the recent Custom PSP Theme Pack that PSP Nikos has to offer, when we receive word of another update. The man is letting everybody know that his team has just opened up Pack 4 for release, which carries even more goodies to help us along on our PSP-pimpin' spree. As for the new stuff available:

A few days back, we first featured PSP Nikos and his compilation of the best PSP themes available, so as you guys could download it once and you'll have plenty of options in the future. He is a pretty efficient guy and this next tidbit we're gonna share with you proves that he is really committed to this project.

PSP Nikos informed us that he has released the Custom PSP Theme Pack 3, which is an update of the earlier release. He mentions that old custom PSP pack could be deleted and this one right here could replace it. Here are some of the things you could expect in this pack:

• More Bootsounds [About 5 - 10 added]

• Deleted PS3 intro [Too big and poor quality]

PSP Nikos has put together a package of all the great contributions made to the PSP community. This one right here is actually a compilation of the best themes possible, so that you guys can download it for your pleasure in one go. Efficient, eh? Now you can do some catching up on the themes you missed out on!

Anyway, of course this project wouldn't have been possible if not for all those programmers who made these files in the first place. And PSP Nikos fully recognizes that, that's why he gives his big thanks to them all. So, what you can find in this package are the following:
