A new version is out for GeeXboX, the Media Center prototype for the Wii (now in its alpha stages). Some great new updates in this build, including support for widescreen mode and improved Wiimote connection and reconnection routine. Details in the full article.

The PSP China Bulletin Boards has picked up some new pictures of Sony's rumored PSP-3000. Rather than just a couple of pics of the unit's separate bits and pieces, this new batch shows what appears to be a working model. You can view the pictures over in the full article.

It's been a while since we heard from GeeXboX, but it seems the wait was well worth it. In case you missed the previous release, GeeXboX is a media center prototype for the Wii. This build is based on the recently released Whiite-Linux system, which adds a significant number of features to the program, including networking and USB support. Details in the full article.
