The homebrew coders from the DaedalusX64 team has released another round of update for their ever-popular Nintendo 64 emulator for the PSP. Notable features of the latest DaedalusX64 build includes some more bug fixes and various other improvements.

The powers and resources of the NPD, Enterbrain, and GfK Chart-Track have all come together and the results are in - Dragon Quest IX dominated the global sales charts spanning over three months ending September of this year. What's more amazing is that the DS-exclusive title has only been released in Japan. See how the others fared.

It's that time of the week again. Media Create has released the software sales results in Japan for the week of October 5th through October 11th. Keeping the top spot is still Pokemon HeartGold/ SoulSilver for the DS.

We've been so attuned to the hardware sales charts the past couple of weeks, thanks to Media Create, so for a change, let's veer our sights to softwares. For the week of September 14-20, Pokemon Soul Silver and HeartGold take spots number 1 and 2, respectively.

Here's another Pokemon milestone, straight from the Pokemon-loving shores of Japan. In just two little days from release, the latest DS Pokemon installments, HeartGold and SoulSilver, have already fetched over 1.4 million copies sold.

Lots of things happened this week on the QJ.NET PSP blog. A new firmware update came out, we saw some intriguing new Sony tech that'll supposedly be made available to game devs, and we also got a little reassurance from Sony that they ain't forgetting about no UMDs, no sirree. Sony is confident enough that Invizimals can be as successful as Pokemon, though not necessarily meaning to say that it is Sony's answer to Nintendo's blockbuster collectible pocket monsters.
