Wii DS Warriro - Image 1Warning: The following recap may take a few minutes of your time, so reader is advised to walk over to the fridge, get a few snacks and a can of rootbeer, with which the news will taste so much better. That actually depends if you're gonna read everything, but if you really want to keep yourself up to speed in all things Nintendo, you gotta have a few snacks close by to enjoy your trip across the news.

PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior - Image 1The Japan-only PSP title Evangelion: Jo made waves this week not because of its gameplay or anything, but because of a new anti-CFW feature built into it. It's not exactly new since there have been other PSP games that implemented CFW checks before, but it does drive home the point that developers are taking it into their own hands to keep PSP piracy at bay. Not sure how long the protection on the game will last though. The homebrew scene generally gets fired up even more when stuff like this comes out. Read on for a recap of the week in homebrew.

PokeWalker - Image 1Those who have been playing Pokemon games since the late 90s may remember the Pokemon Pikachu, a pedometer (that's peDOmeter, not PEdometer) that could unlock data on the original Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal games. For the Gold and Silver DS remakes, Nintendo is once again bundling a pedometer with the games, this time calling it the PokeWalker.

Invizimals - Image 1You guys remember Eye of Judgement and how it used the PlayStation Eye to capture gestures and the like? Invizimals for the PSP is kinda like that PS3 game infused with some Pokemon elements. It's totally being presented as a kiddie game but it does look interesting. Maybe this will be another guilty pleasure? Check out the E3 debut trailer after the jump.

One in five Japanese folks own a DS - Image 1With all the hardware sales reports we've gotten from Enterbrain and Media Create, it's a pretty well-known fact that the DS has sold very well in Japan. But it takes a simple pic from Nintendo to really rub it in and make us see the bigger picture - one in every five Japanese folks now own a Nintendo DS. Talk about ownage.
