Hmm... Intriguing. PlayStation Underground members might find in their respective inboxes a new message from the Qore team. In anticipation of the upcoming December Episode, they're hinting at something that's both "big" and "free" at the same time.

By early next week, PlayStation.com is adding additional features into the site. Users will get to enjoy easier access to content, as well as join in on the site's coming community features, where users can flame, troll, and make new friends. Take full advantage of your PSN ID, PlayStation Underground account, and soon, PlayStation Home.

Apparently there was a bit of a miscommunication over a letter sent by the PlayStation Underground newsletter. Supposedly, all Qore Episode 06 and annual subscribers were to be given access to PlayStation Home's closed beta. This is apparently not entirely true, as announced by a follow-up letter last Friday.

There's something new to try over at the PlayStation Network these days. It's called the PSN Portable ID and it's designed to identify you on whichever site you go. Kojima Studios' Ryan Payton dropped by the NeoGAF Forums to make some clarifications regarding the PlayStation Underground e-newsletter and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops+.

If you missed our report on this, a certain MGS Portable Ops: Infinite War announcement came in with the said newsletter. Ryan Payton clarified that this is not a new title and definitely not the name of the North American version for Portable Ops+.

"What the hell? 'Infinite War' was the codename I gave to the project before 'MPO+' was decided on. Funny how things find their ways to retailers," explained Payton.

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops+ is expected to be released in North America on November 13.
