LittleBigPlanet - Image 1Rumors of an image importing feature to be added to Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet by Christmas have been flat-out denied by an LBP community manager. According to a post by Sam_Protagonist on the PlayStation forums, the feature is technically doable, but the part about a Christmas patch is pure hogwash. Read the full post after the jump.

Someone's just discovered a patent that SCEA's filed to the US Patent & Trademark Office, outlining their rumored "transforming" controller. Sonar tech: check! Interchangeable button faceplates: check! Multiple controller combination configurations: check! Breast detection: uh... whut?

LittleBigPlanet - Image 1Ready for the public beta for LittleBigPlanet? Well now, while that as much is just a LittleBigSlice of the game, here's a couple more details of what we can expect when we actually get the full version of the game: some 50-ish levels right off the bat, a projected amount of 12 hours to complete, and a clue on how Media Molecule will moderate user-generated content that's offensive in nature, i.e. R-rated content. Hint: the words "PS3" and "brick" were used in the same sentence.
