Fallout 3 - Image 1Pete Hines, Bethesda's Product Manager for Fallout 3 and VP of PR and Marketing, was answering fan-submitted questions live on Eurogamer today. From the look of things, there's gonna be quite a bit to look forward to in the months to come. Specifically, massive DLC for the Xbox 360 and PC, and Trophy support for the PS3. Joy!

Fallout 3 - Image 1With radically changed gameplay and a new developer, one has to wonder why Bethesda didn't simply release Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) as "Fallout" rather than attempt a more direct connection with the previous two titles with a true sequel. Bethesda marketing VP Pete Hines has just fired out an email asking gaming websites to take down trailers for the much-awaited post-apocalyptic RPG.

Now, if you Australian gamers out there are thinking that you'll be getting a different version from everybody else, well, that's not the case. Fallout 3 won't have trophies at launch - Image 1PlayStation Universe has a new report up for all the PS3 owners out there who are planning on picking up a copy of Fallout 3. According to Bethesda's Pete Hines, the game won't come with trophies upon release. More on this after the jump!

Censorship - Image 1Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) has only recently been cleared for release in Australia after the whole drugs debacle, but it looks like Bethesda's Pete Hines is still a bit peeved. Pete Hines: Fallout 3 is better than Oblivion - Image 1What's a good way to hype your upcoming game? Saying that it's better than the previous game you created is one way. Noting that your previous game was a blockbuster hit both commercially and critically also helps as well. That said, Bethesda VP Pete Hines thinks Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) is going to be a better game than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3). Not friends with everyone, Bethesda? - Image 1Somebody's been left out of the loop and will not be getting the DLC share for Bethesda's Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC). And while analysts are quick to give their opinion as to why Sony's PS3 was not counted when the DLC goodies were being given out, Bethesda itself is keeping mum.
