I kinda feel bad for Midway. They just can't get a break. After getting a US$ 33M bid from Warner last month, here comes another lawsuit that could make the Warner deal fall through.

We have here the first in a series of Dev Journal entries from IGG for their Greek Mythology-based MMORPG, GodsWar Online. For this first iteration, Ethan Pan, the game designer of GodsWar Online, is sharing his thoughts on the development of the new pet system for GodsWar. He also brings us cute screenshots to ogle out, so check it out right after the jump.

Ever wondered what the mighty God of Norse Mythology looked like before becoming his legendary, ultra-cool self? Looking at the 2D side-scroller, Thor, it appears he was a big-jawed bumpkin from the middle of nowhere. Well, that's just me. Very little confirmed info has been given by developers at On The Rocks, so we'll have to do with my big-jawed version of of the story for now. We do have a few screenshots to make up for that though.

Of note this week in Europe's PSN update are a handful of downloadable PSP games: LocoRoco and SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 2 being half of that list. The usual PS3 games get DLC packs again, but if you guys want to give Savage Moon a spin, there's a trial version available.

Yesterday, we had the game director. Now, we have the art director. Jeff Rubenstein rolls out another video in his series of interviews with the guys behind of God of War III, this time with Ken Feldman, who's been manning the visual side of Kratos and his latest dance with the gods. Like the endless horde that countless movies portray them as, zombies have seen a resurgence in gaming, the most recent one being XomB (pronounced "zombie") from 3G Studios. Set in a re-imagined version of feudal Asia and drawing heavily from Asian mythology, XomB has the player fighting against a sweeping darkness that's forcibly corrupting the landscape and reanimating the dead.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (Wii, DS) came out in Japan two weeks ago, so it'd be interesting to know how those games fared on their first week. Let's take a little trip to Japan and see how the Japanese gamers are spending their gaming cash, shall we?

Fresh out of the official site of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology comes two new trailers for this PSP game from Namco Bandai. First one shows how our new hero falls from the sky and lands on the Van Eltia, and the other one shows us how to upgrade weapons. Watch them in the full article after the jump.
