After trickling the whole thing out piece by piece on different websites, Activision has finally put up a complete list of the bands whose songs will show up in Guitar Hero 5 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) on the game's official website.

Europe's PlayStation Network update for today is bringing another round of goods, not least of which is the BioShock demo - just as scheduled! And if you're sick of FIFA 09 (already?!), there's the PES 2009 demo. There's more Rock Band songs available, as well as a new PSN arcade title, Geon.

Harmonix has published the list of Rock Band tracks that'll be available on XBL and PSN next week. While Rush and Megadeth got their share of the limelight already, the next round of updates will bring Red Hot Chili Peppers to the center stage with their 1991 album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Take me to the place I loooove... Take me all the way...

The US PlayStation Network update for this week is now available. And yes, finally, the Mercenaries 2 demo is live - they probably got stuck in traffic along the way - as well as the demo for Fracture. PSP owners also get two downloadable titles this week, both from D3 Publisher: PQ and Cube.

Megadeth's Peace Sells... But Who's Buying! album headlines the Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) DLC that'll hit the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation network next week. Also along for the ride is the 4-track Rock Band Tour Pack. Details in the full article.

As expected, it's another week filled with downloadable goodies from Sony as the latest update for the PlayStation Store hits PSN subscribers in the North American region. Making its way around the Internet is an intriguing new rumor related to Guitar Hero World Tour (Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii). This rumor is made interesting by virtue of it being a potential set list for the game. Find the rumor list after the jump!

Sounds hard-core, huh? Well of course it is! After all, that's the song of American heavy metal band, Megadeth. And yeah, it is for the Xbox 360-exclusive hit game Gears of War. The even better news is that the band has made it available as a free download, which we are hosting right here. And we're throwing in the lyrics as well, so you could sing along with it...Or maybe not. Just headbang your way through the song while playing your GoW. That should be more than enough to fire you up.

This week we advise music lovers and gamers alike to get ready as MTV recently announced Gamer's Week 2.0. Ranging across MTV, games.MTV.com, MTV2, mtvU, Xfire, and GameTrailers, this event is set to showcase the latest, the coolest, the hottest, and in some cases, the lamest that gaming culture has to offer.
