TGS 2007: More Gran Turismo 5 Prologue details revealed - Image 1Those who couldn't wait to get hold of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue should take heed of this Tokyo Game Show 2007 announcement: there will be five tracks available in Prologue. Thinking that it's too few to keep yourself entertained until Gran Turismo 5's release? Keep in mind that there are other features jampacked in the game that will definitely enhance gamer experience.

As mentioned in a previous article, Prologue will feature a 16-player online multiplayer feature, which is a first for the Gran Turismo franchise. 30 cars will be made available, including Ferrari, Lotus, Nissan, and Mitsubishi vehicles, to add more replay value to Prologue.

If you're bored with driving cars, then you can just take a break and just watch Gran Turismo TV. Gran Turismo TV will let you get connected and watch car racing programs without having to log off the game for a fee. Also, if you're feeling lucky and want to show off your moves to friends, then you may find the Photo Mode handy in getting screenshots of your game and saving the snaps into your hard drive.

A US release date and pricing information for Prologue is not available yet, but you can count on us to keep you informed. Until then, stay tuned!

World of Warcraft Forums - monitoring the WoW Community for hot news - Image 1Taking a look at the European side of World of Warcraft, dancing bovine Ommra announced some rather un-highlighted (and would've probably gone unnoticed) changes to profession, other than those initially announced or further changed a couple more hours in to the 2.1.0 PTR patching.

It looks like there's really bad news for priests out there who've been clamoring the Professions section for hours on end since the announcement of the profession changes by Nethaera on April 12.

On the European side of World of Warcraft, there seems to be a phenomenal change with tailoring, as the highly-revered Shadoweave tunic, along with the Spellfire tunic, has now been changed to robes.

Reflected already over at the U.S. realms, the changes don't seem to be invigorating for the various mages and priests who've suddenly found out their Frozen Shadoweave now makes them look like a girl. Better Worse yet, Spellfire-clad folk are already the talk of the realms as they've been referred to as "walking stained glass windows!" (*snickers*)

Other changes include the important Fel Lotus, an ingredient for certain Raid consumables, which now has an increased percentage of being found while foraging for herbs. That's great news for farmers, but it would've been better if the Black Lotus was easier to farm as well.

Earthstorm and Skyfire Diamond transmutes are now only effective for one day. And last but not least, Primal Nethers may now be purchased from G'eras for Badges of Justice.

World of Warcraft - Image 1Over on the official World of Warcraft forums, Blizzard poster Eyonix has posted something regarding changes being made to flask reagent costs and potency in patch 2.1 for World of Warcraft. Check out the example below in convenient list form.

  • Flask of Mighty Restoration - Current

Instant, Regenerate 70 mana per 5 sec for two hours.
Reagents: Dreaming Glory x20, Mana Thistle x10, Fel Lotus x1

  • Flask of Mighty Restoration - Patch 2.1

Instant, Regenerate 25 mana per 5 sec for two hours.
Reagents: Dreaming Glory x7, Mana Thistle x3, Fel Lotus x1

The drop rate for Fel Lotus will also be increased in patch 2.1 by about 15%. While the effects of the flasks have been reduced, the cost has also seen an equal reduction. All alchemy flasks will be adjusted similarly to the examples above. Eyonix has also posted a few details on the four new elixirs scheduled to go live with the next content patch. Details are listed below.
  • Elixir of Draenic Wisdom: Intellect and Spirit are increased by 25.
  • Earthen Elixir: Reduces both spell and physical damage taken by 20.
  • Elixir of Ironskin: Resilience is raised by 30.
  • Elixir of Major Fortification: Increases health by 250 and provides 10 health every 5 seconds.
