December's just a few days away, but the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC beta won't be happening next month after all. Instead, it'll kick off "very early next year." DICE has good reasons for the delay, however.

So it's legit after all. Not that there was much doubt to Logitech making a new drum kit for Guitar hero 5 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) though. Those who enjoy a good in-game rocking out might be interested in the drum kit, now that it has been confirmed to be for real.

A slip up at the Codemasters community forums led to the "unveiling" of the new Logitech G27. The Community Manager mistakenly listed in the G27 as part of the controllers and wheels list that  DiRT 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS and PSP) supposedly supports. Predictably so, the post was immediately edited, but not before one determined reader, Homerfreak, took a screencap of it for proof.

If anyone knows the daddy market, it'd be Amazon. Yeah, trust them to know what your dad will appreciate for Father's Day. Nope, that's not a Guitar Hero or Rock Band brand guitar. That's from Logitech, and it's for the PS3. Yup, that's a wireless guitar controller right there, perfect for those high-jumpin' rockin' good time. No guitar spins for you on this one, though.

This one's a solid confirmation. Troy Petersen, Global Product Marketing Manager for Gaming Products of Logitech, have confirmed firm and square that they are indeed coming up with a PS3 Blu-ray controller. First uncovered by Engadget yesterday, seems like there is now no other way to go but admit guilt.

Ok, I only wanted to post about this little gadget because I want one for myself. Logitech has released a new cordless laser mouse that has a clip dock on the laptop. Now you can stick the mouse to the laptop if you're not using it so you don't have to keep wondering where you put the darned thing. More in the full article.

Here's a keeper for the weekend: Valve has just put new updates up on Steam for Audiosurf and Race Driver: GRID, the latter being part of the follow up the version 1.1 patch that released for the retail editions of the racing game. While Audiosurf seems to be gearing up for additional content in the future, the GRID patch corrects issues with game initializations and shut downs. More at the full story.
