smw - Image 1 Here is a cool Wiibrew game courtesy of  homebrew coder Tantric. Super Mario War Wii is a port of a Super Mario multiplayer game Super Mario War using SDL Wii. The games features up to four player deathmatch, different game modes and more. The goal of the game is to stomp as many other Marios as possible to win the game.

Wii homebrew - Image 1Here's another new compiled version of QuakeGX, this time courtesy of Ciaran Gillespie. The dev notes that the input.cpp in this release has been rewritten in C and that it has a modified makefile system. More details are available in the full article.

mpl - Image 1A new update of MPlayer CE has been released by Scip, Rodries, and the rest of the dev team. If you remember, MPlayer CE is a port of MPlayer by Team Twiizers which combines the features of MPlayerWii and GeeXboX. The new update of the Wiibrew media player has a ton of changes and improvements.

Wii homebrew - Image 1CashMan has updated his Channel File Manager app to beta 4. In case you haven't come across this homebrew Wii app before, Channel File Manager is a hybrid of WAD Manager 1.3 and AnyTitle Deleter that lets you manage the Channels on your Nintendo Wii console. This release features added support for SDHC and USB 2.0 along with a new system for loading custom IOS files.
