DS PSP iPhone - Image 1So there's the new PSP-3000, the new DSi, and the iPhone. How different is the portable gaming market now? Satoru Iwata already gave his thoughts on the subject matter - that they're not after iPhone's market share. And who can forget? Even John Koller had a thing to say about the current competition - that the DSi may be successful, but will remain for kiddies under 12. So now, will anyone else give their own two cents? No, duh. Of course someone will pipe in! Enter Luc Bernard, creator and developer of Eternity's Child.

John Koller - Image 1"I can see the DSi being successful," says John Koller, Sony's brand manager for the PSP. But that's not the full story, of course. Koller was able to give his two cents about Nintendo's new DS upgrade, and while he does have some positive remarks, he still somehow manages to sneak in a potshot at the DS' demographic. John Koller PSP-3000 - Image 1 In an interview, John Koller, Sony's brand manager for the PSP, talked much about the recently unveiled PSP-3000. He has confirmed that the battery life of the new PSP model will indeed be decreased because of the brighter screen. Also, Koller revealed that the PSP-2000, aka the PSP Slim, will cease production soon. Out with the old, in with the new! (But if you're a collector, it's high time to find a Slim unit now before it's gone forever. Time to hoard those Slims!)
