PSP Go - Image 1 The price cut on the PSP devkit has already opened PSP development to more interested parties, but apparently that's not Sony's only approach to bringing in more devs to the handheld. David Reeves - Image 1David Reeves, SCEE President, couldn't have been more straightforward and decisive when he said that there won't be any price cuts for the PS3. The PS3 isn't doing so well sales-wise, and this isn't going to help. They may be giving discounts in India this Christmas, but the rest of the world will see that the PS3 will not get any cheaper.

PS3 - Image 1So there I was, reading my source, hardly believing my eyes when I saw the "Sony PlayStation 3 prices dropped" title. With Christmas and everything, it might be true. Then boom, I find out it's only for India. As it turns out, Sony's giving a special holiday treat to gamers in India, giving them a reason to start celebrating Christmas.
