PSP homebrew developer caliarbor has released a new version of MP3 ME Player. In case you missed the previous releases, MP3 ME Player is - as the title suggests - an MP3 player. It's charm comes from its old-school DOS/ANSI layout, and its low usage of power. Details about the new build after the "read more" link.Download: Mp3 ME Player v1.03 Visit: QJ.NET PSP Development Forums |

If you don't like something, do something about. And this is exactly what Alienware did with CoverFlow. Not liking what he saw in version 2.5, he then set out to create his own upgrade. And it's now available for all of you to check out. To do so, just follow the jump.Download: CoverFlow 3.0 Discuss: QJ.NET's PSP Development Forums |

PSP homebrew developer sakya has released a new version of his mp3 player application LightMP3. For those who haven't heard of it, LightMP3 is a resource-light MP3 player application for your PSP. Using the app, you can stretch the battery life of your PSP for up to 11 hours while listening to music on it. In the case of LightMP3 v1.4.1, this new version is mostly a bugfix of the previous release. The notable addition to LightMP3 here, however, is the ability to turn on your USB connection through the program. Here's the changelog for more details:

Homebrew developer Xart has come out with Melody v1.0.4. For those of you unfamiliar with this application, it is an MP3 player derived from the embedded MP3 player in Choice Beta 1.5. This latest version fixes a few of the more troublesome bugs that were found in its previous release. The Playlist and MyRating which was not working due to the update on the ID3 parser has now been fixed, meaning that this program should now be working without a hitch. If you've been using an older release, it is advisable that you upgrade to this version. If you do decide to try this homebrew out, be sure to go over the readme document included in the zip file before doing anything to avoid any problems. Download: Melody v1.0.4 |

In the unfortunate case that you've been living under a rock, Xandu's Media Player is a homebrew media app that supports .mp3, .wav, IT, MOD, S3M, and OGG. It features an iPod-like interface and an iPod clickwheel capability. Other nifty features include shuffle mode, album art, music quiz, ID3 tags, and louder sound output than XMB. Anyway, version 1.2d has the following changes and additions:
At any rate, check out Xandu's Media Player by clicking the download link below. Enjoy! Download: Xandu's Media Player 1.2d |

Anyway, here's the changelog:
Anyway, go ahead and download the app, though make sure you read the nifty user manual that goes with the file. Enjoy! Download: Xandu's Media Player 2 Beta v1.2B |
