One of the standard and preferred office software used today is QuickBooks from Intuit. It's a software that allows you to manage your company's accounting info: numbers, data, finances, etc. With the program, you can manage payroll, inventory, or even track your checks, bills, and expenses.Intuit has recently announced that QuickBooks Pro 2007 will now be available for the Mac for US $ 199.95. To top things off, it'll be able to run natively on your Mac operating system. It can integrate with other software like iCal, Address Book, and even your .Mac account. This new release will also have a feature called Layout Designer, which lets you create personalized and configured templates for purchase orders, sales receipts, and estimates. Well, personally, I'm not really much into the whole accounting biz. But I've had a fair share of experiences trying to make receipts and templates in a few office suites and other desktop publishing software that I run on my PowerBook. Yes, I get the job done, but of course, it's always going to be easier if I had one sole program that's really tailored to help me manage accounting processes. |
