Aside from the rhyming title, TicTacToe version 1.0 is also well-polished - it's got the sounds and appearances down pat, while the visual effects are appropriate, though quite subtle. Homebrew developer bmic says this project was created from scratch, thanks to the well-improved libraries provided by the WiiBrew community. Check out just a few more details when you read through the full story.Download: TicTacToe v1.0 Download: TicTacToe v1.0 source code |

Okay, so maybe the wait for multi-capable video playback on your Wii is taking a lot longer than you could take. Luckily the homebrew community around the Nintendo Wii has enough projects going around to provide enough of a selection for homebrew users out there. For media players, we've seen DragonMedia Player and GeeXboX, but did you know there's something out there for video buffs who don't want to go through Linux? Take for instance, rOn's MPlayerWii.Download: MPlayerWii v0.02 |

If you love seeing objects fall, then perhaps you'd like a mixture of Tetris (falling blocks!) and a good physics engine (Chipmunk). What do you get when you combine those two elements together? It's AntiTetris, created by homebrew developer Mia. Check out a video of the AntiTetris in the full article!Download: AntiTetris v1.0 |
