Homebrew coder Yellow8 has released a new homebrew utility that allows you to read, decrypt, decompress and dump info and URLs from the Nintendo channel download lists to either the local HD or directly from the servers.

An update just went up on PSPGen's site, and in it came the announcement that the much anticipated Custom Firmware 5.03GEN for HEN-B is in the process of being finalized. The much-awaited 5.50GEN-C custom firmware had its share of problems upon launch. There were reports of freezes, although they seemed to be dependent on the PSP model. PSPGEN's MaGiXieN has moved to address these issues as well as announce that work is proceeding on CFW 5.50GEN-D.

Despite recent setbacks profits-wise, Nintendo's success in this console generation is a hard thing to argue against. In recognition of the DS and Wii's dominance in their respective markets, BusinessWeek and management consulting firm A.T. Kearney recently gave Nintendo the top spot in their World's Best Companies 2009 list.

Dutch website Area Games is reporting that the Xbox 360 Elite will come with a "250GB" bundle with a price tag of € 279.95 (US$ 399.12). The "Super Elite" is said to come out in October 2009. More details.

Homebrew coder WiiCrazy/I.R.on is back to release a new update for Crazy Intro, a homebrew tool that allows you customize the welcome screen of your Nintendo Wii, display your selected pictures and play music. The latest update has added new features and some other fixes.

Another PS3 Slim listing has been spotted, this time on Swedish online retail site, DiscShop. As with the Amazon.de listing, this one doesn't really shed any light on the long-rumored revision for the Sony PlayStation 3 console.
