PS3 drive - Image 1Even though it did fix the issues caused by PS3 firmware 3.00, the release of firmware 3.01 also led to reports of Blu-ray drive errors from those who updated. Sony says it's not the firmware that's causing the issues, though.

LittleBigPlanet online create mode coming - Image 1Will LittleBigPlanet finally get its long-awaited Online Feature mode? A picture from Media Molecule's Flickr feed seems to suggest it will, specifically in the Cornish Yarg patch (one of the "cheese" patches) that will come out in the next 6 to 8 weeks.
