Since the big presentation at E3, a lot of people have been waiting for the Facebook integration for Xbox Live (the rest have been hating the crap out of it). At any rate, stats show that a lot of people have logged in to Facebook through the new service, haters or not. By "a lot", I mean two million.

Huge week for the PS3. For starters, firmware 3.10 is now live, spamming Facebook news feeds everywhere with Trophy information and a few PSN "purchases" whether they were paid for or for free. Sony also had the floor at the Media Investor Conference, where they revealed that they're planning to upgrade PS3s for full 3D support in 2010, as well as a future revenue stream from "PSN subscriptions." To top it all of - rumor erupts that Sony might be bringing Firefox into PS3s, which could solve the browser problem for Slim owners. The Wii might be in unfamiliar territory, facing decline for the first time and all, but that doesn't mean that the console is down for the count. A survey from the gifting service, Lottay, reveals that there is twice more demand for the Wii than both its rival consoles combined. Just because last week saw some big releases doesn't mean there's nothing left to look forward to in the near future. Rumors came out last week pointing to the release info for Project Natal, which included the margin, the price, even a number of launch titles to be available. When asked for comment, Xbox UK exec Neil Thompson flatly dismissed the rumors, saying they "weren't accurate" and that the kitchen's still cooking as far as the Natal release is concerned.

Heads up to all PlayStation 3 owners! Sony has just revealed some more details about the upcoming PS3 firmware update version 3.10 which is scheduled to arrive "soon". The latest update will incorporate Facebook functionality into the console.
