Still hitting the ring at Fight Night Round 4? Good news, slugger. EA Sports is sending another haymaker over to pack more punch into the game. This round will see a neat price drop for the game, so those who still don't have the game will be able to grab a copy minus the ouch of the full price. For those who already have the game, EA Sports will continue post-launch support with some fresh new downloadable content.

Electronic Arts and Double Fine Productions Inc. has announced that the first downloadable content for the heavy metal inspired third person action game Brutal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360) will be coming to PSN and Xbox LIVE this November.

Here's some good news for those who went out and got a copy of the delightfully demented PS3 and Xbox 360 hack-and-slasher, Fairytale Fights (and also those who have yet to do so). Playlogic Entertainment will be giving away free DLC for the game.

"There will be downloadable content, yes," said Naughty Dog multiplayer designer Justin Richmond on supporting Uncharted 2: Among Thieves post-launch. Apart from making the confirmation, he also gave some info on what to expect, so read up and stay in-the-know.

To celebrate the launch of PSP Go, SCEA has decided to update the PlayStation Store a day early. PSP Go owners as well as the die hard PSP gamers will surely have plenty of reasons to celebrate this week as Sony promises to release over a hundred new PSP games including the PSP minis, that is now available for download. But if you're a PS3 owner, don't worry, there are plenty of stuff waiting for you. 

While we have yet to hear of any concrete details regarding the PSN Game Cards for the UK PSP Go when it launches next month, at least we can cling on to the confirmation of Sony UK that there will indeed be PSN Game Cards coming to the region.

According to Sony, you can get your pick from almost 16,000 pieces of downloadable content. They've also revealed something that retailers can get behind: PlayStation Network Game Cards.

Microsoft was quite pleased with how summer turned out for Xbox Live Arcade, with three releases topping the XBL charts coming from Summer of Arcade - Shadow Complex, Trials HD and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Thanks to Summer of Arcade, XBLA sales shot up 200%. It won't stop there - there's more to come on XBLA to close out the season, so despite the cool breeze starting to blow, the heat ain't over for Microsoft just yet.

Those who've already gotten their copies of Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days got a little worked up over a DLC-related error message that appeared in the game when saving or loading. Fear not, level-grinders! NIS America sent word that the error message will not harm your gameplay or any DLC you may download in the future. To prove that and to appease those who've been itching to hit Level 1000 already, they're handing out the game's first DLC free of charge.

Adding DLC on Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) is not the only thing that Square Enix is taking into consideration. Yoshi Kitase reveals that they are in fact considering putting downloadable content to future Final Fantasy titles. Read more after the jump.
