The GameDR Smack Talk: load up to five yo mama jokesEven the art of smack-down trash-talking has become automated. Presenting Digital Innovations' GameDR Smack Talk for the Xbox 360. Because you just have to tell off the guy at the other end of Live just how lame he is at, say, Texas Hold'Em. But you don't want to wear out your vocal cords.

Yes, this is smack talk at the push of a button. There are five buttons for five pre-loaded aduio tracks - the evil laugh, the roaring appluase - but they can all be replaced by custom audio samples. You can still use the 360 Headset with it - it will plug into the GameDR - to say really important stuff - or more smack that can't fit into the GameDR.

Geez, I dunno. I can already hear your potential comments to this device already, nearly all of them not positive. I also hear some people are planning to load a *Bleep!*load of annoying smacks and other audio files, such as body sounds, fingernails scratching on blackboards, cheezy movie lines, yo' mama jokes, the Macarena, and political speeches. My ears shudder at the thought.

There could be one important use for GameDR, however, none of which has to do with Smack Talk. Any team player will tell you that clear, quick and crisp communication among teammates is the key to coordination and victory. GameDR can be used to deliver common or emergency commands at the touch of a button or two. Then again, that's what the headset's for, right? Which makes the accessory more of a "spare tire" for a busted headset, or of you're suffering from laryngitis. If not an also-ran. GameDR for $ 29.99 at Digital Innovations and game shops.
