Max Memory - Image 1Datel wasn't happy with the way Microsoft decided to shut them out of the Xbox 360 and they're not gonna take it lying down. No, they're not gonna amass an angry mob and trample through the Microsoft gates with torches and pitchforks (although it'd be cool if they did). What they're working on right now is finding a way past the obstacle that keeps their storage devices out of the system.

smartscreen - Image 1Coming straight from their own Twitter page, iPhone Dev Team members wizdaz and MediaPhone have recently announced a brand new application for the iPhone and iPod touch, called SmartScreen. According to the post, this app will allow users the ability to have multiple widgets displayed on the lock screen. More info after the jump.

Firmware update - Image 1Those who you spent all night and early morning playing may have encountered an error when logging in to Xbox Live. Worry not, the problem has been resolved. It was simply because of a firmware update to get Xbox 360s suited up for the coming Facebook, Twitter, and LastFM services.

Under repair - Image 1Just a quick reminder folks - Xbox Live will not be so live tomorrow, August 11, while it gets its scheduled Dashboard update. Once it goes back on, you'd have your improved Netflix support, Games on Demand, and the Avatar Marketplace, among others.
