With the recent release of FIFA 09 across all major platforms, the latest Chart Track sales figures have experienced an upheaval. Ole! Setting a record, FIFA 09 shoots straight to the top of the All Formats Chart as a debuting entry, toppling Star Wars: The Force Unleashed from first place.

New numbers from Chart Track show that the current installed base for console and handheld gamers in the UK have doubled since last year. That's good news for devs who want to sell more games, which is good news for gamers who want to see them make more games.
