Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law to have no major differences across platforms - Image 1

What do you get when you cross Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney and mix it in with good old fashioned American cartoon humor? Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law that's what. Inspired by Capcom's original judicial sim game, Harvey Birdman stars in his own game slated to come out for the PS2, PSP and the Nintendo Wii.

It has been confirmed so far that the PS2 and the PSP versions will be carbon copies of each other and will have no differences asides from the obvious visual display variations between the two platforms.

As for it's debut on the Wii, the biggest difference it will have will be the retail price when the game finally comes out (US$ 30 for the PS2 and PSP version vs. US$ 40 for the Wii). While an additional ten bucks may seem outrageous just to add motion control for the game, it has been speculated that royalties for Nintendo are higher compared to other companies. Either way, the game is sure to be something that people who enjoy their jury cases crossed with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim brand of humor will definitely enjoy.

Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law will be hatching this November 13, so make no objections about it when it finally hits the shelves.

Change forms in with these Ben 10: Protector of Earth screenshots - Image 1 Change forms in with these Ben 10: Protector of Earth screenshots - Image 2

Here are some new screenshots for upcoming video game Ben 10: Protector of Earth courtesy of gaming site IGN. The title is being developed by High Voltage Software and will be released in North America some time during the fourth quarter of this year. It will be marketed by D3Publisher.

Anyway, the title sounds familiar because it is actually a port of the animated series Ben 10 from Cartoon Network. It follows the story of Ben Tennyson and his involvement with the device Omnitrix that allows him to change into different alien forms. These include the likes of Fourarms, Heatblast, Cannonbolt, XLR8, and Wildvine.

If your character is sporting an alien body, it is only fair that your enemies should be aliens as well. High Voltage still hasn't released any information on this but initial reports say that Ben 10 will be facing off with Vilgax, Kevin 11, Hex, and the Forever Knights.

As always, updates as we get them and in the mean while, just enjoy the screenshots below!

FusionFall logo - Image 1

Cartoon Network is now officially joining the bandwagon of MMORPGs with the announcement FusionFall as an entry to the online gaming scene. Featuring characters that spawned from Cartoon Network, the game being developed for the PC is set to attract both the young and young at heart.

Like most MMORPGs, there will be different classes that players can choose. Guilds will be called clubs, but not much is known about what sticking together under the same banner will do for FusionFall. As much as we'd love to see Chicken (from Cow & Chicken) beat the crap out of Johnny Bravo, PvP is still under consideration.

Other characters that won't be joining the playables roster will be available as miniature allies called "nano" to aid you in battle. While it sounds perfectly like your run-of-the-mill RPG, the title promises to bring console platforming gameplay together with role-playing elements.

It has been reported July last year that Cartoon Network partnered with prominent Korean MMORPG developer Grigon Entertainment to create a game that complies with the Children's Online Privacy and Protection Act. FusionFall, which should be pretty far in development by now, is slated for a summer 2008 release. You can find the trailer embedded below.

The European division of D3Publisher has polished up its titles for maximum exposure at the vast Leipzig Business and Convention Center, Germany. And in the Games Convention Developers Conference (GCDC) fast approaching in less than a month, gamers are assured that the presence of Dark Sector, Ben 10: Protector of Earth, Ed, Edd and Eddy: Scam of the Century, and Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire will be felt throughout the four-day European-centric event.

D3Publisher reveals featured games for Leipzig Convention - Image 1

The Leipzig Convention will be the first event to feature playable, early versions of Dark Sector (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC), a third-person horror, action adventure combining bio-weapons and morphing to truly recreate a plague-ravaged Eastern Europe.

And right off from the Cartoon Network, Ben 10: Protector of Earth (Wii, DS, PSP, PS2) will have players wielding the Omnitrix as Ben Tennyson, fending off the evil Kevin 11 and arch-enemy Vilgax. The game is planned to extend the cartoon adventures straight to accessible consoles, including popular handhelds.

Ed, Edd and Eddy: Scam of the Century (DS) will pit the triple misbehaving E's against their own neighborhood, after Captain Melonhead gains possession of their book of schemes and distributes it to everyone. The adventure game will have gamers scouring for the book through puzzles and the trio's collection of skills, before each of their schemes can be used against them.

Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire (Wii) will also be featured at Leipzig. This "massive" RPG was designed especially for the Nintendo Wii and its pair of trusty controllers, allowing players to control movement and attacks through the Wiimote and Nunchuk. The plot and storyline was penned by none other than "DragonLance" creator Richard A. Knack himself, and the game will be available for hands-on demonstration at the event.

Check out the D3Publisher Europe stand, labeled K37, at the first Hall of the Business Center starting August 22-28, 2007.
