Project Natal - Image 1Microsoft has not given out a specific launch date for Natal, and yet here we have Brian Farrell of THQ proclaiming that the motion-sensing unit will be out by "late next year." Can he back up this talk with the walk?

THQ Faces $192 Million Loss, Plans 600 Layoffs - Image 1A rumor spread a few days ago that THQ finally folded after months of struggling to keep above water. The rumor was wrong, but from the looks of it, it probably won't be long before it becomes true. Their latest financial numbers show a US$ 192 million loss, and the Saints Row publisher is now planning to reduce their headcount by 600.

Sales down - Image 1THQ today announced its financial results for the fiscal second quarter which ended in the 30th of September. Net sales dropped, now they're not setting their sights too high with a reduced financial outlook and a big realignment.

Saints Row 2 PC SKU existence confirmed - Image 1THQ's Brian Farrell isn't shy to point out that Saints Row is one of their new, blossoming franchises, and they promised to give such videogame titles the attention they deserve from the self-proclaimed "creative hub" of the industry. Saints Row 2 is confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 after being an Xbox 360 exclusive with the first game, but it would appear the sequel isn't planned for consoles only.
