Some changes are also in store for RPG heavyweight BioWare and MMO studio Mythic Entertainment. Electronic Arts has announced that the two studios will be restructured into a single group that will handle RPG and MMO games development.

Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves took top honors in the annual Best of E3 Game Critics Awards with the "Best of Show" prize tucked firmly in Nathan Drake's belt. Is there a new DLC for Mass Effect being readied for an August release? BioWare has not said anything about it, but a listing on Xbox Live's new "Games on Demand" category (formerly known as Xbox Originals) did. Innocent slip-up? Making it more suspicious is the fact that it's already been pulled out since.

Just yesterday, we reported on a supposed resume of a former BioWare employee indicating that they still have one more unannounced AAA title being kept tightly under wraps. Today, we have a statement from the company expressing their interest in the Nintendo Wii. There's no conclusive link bringing the two together, but that's surely some food for thought if they're bringing something "hardcore" to the Wii.

A resume of a former BioWare employee appears to reveal that there is an unannounced AAA project from the AAA company. The former employee held the position of designer until this past April, and carried a job description that clearly hinted at a brand new IP that is not among the titles already announced by BioWare.

Bioware project director Casey Hudson has revealed that while your original Mass Effect squadmates (the ones left alive, that is) will be appearing in Mass Effect 2, none of them will be recruitable. None. More after the jump.

Speaking with gaming website Joystiq at this years E3, BioWare's co-founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka has confirmed that the second DLC for Mass Effect will be detailed and announced real soon.

A whole load of info about Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360, PC) has apparently been leaked from an OXM interview with developer Bioware. Since we haven't seen a hard copy yet, let's treat this as a rumor for the time being. Among the details revealed in the OXM feature is confirmation that Commander Shepard is alive and well -- for a goodly chunk of the game anyway.
