So it would appear that some third-party developers are getting what Stardock meant - the fate of PC gaming is on the hands of the developers. BioWare, a reputable PC developer of the past, has also expanded to the console market like many others, but they aren't about to abandon the gaming platform. Speaking to MTV, CEOs Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk said that the role-play experts might keep developing PC exclusives in the long run. Hot off EA CEO John Riccitiello's announcement of a new Need For Speed game, some less exciting revelations were dropped. The publisher revealed that two of their premiere titles won't be coming out until early 2009. The games in question are BioWare's Dragon Age and Pandemic's Saboteur. More details after the jump.

Shortly after word streamed from BioWare's Forums that users were aggravated at the activation limits imposed by the new copy protection scheme, 2K Games lifted similar activation limits from the PC version of BioShock. We know that the copy protection scheme that BioWare and Electronic Arts implemented in the PC version of Mass Effect were for granting the convenience of not needing the game disc every time you play, and of course, for combating piracy. Looks like Mass Effect will be gracing your gaming machine soon, as BioWare officially announced that the RPG action game had just gone gold. The developer, together with publisher Electronic Arts, said that the master copy is now sent to manufacturing for mass production, and the special revamp of Mass Effect - a game originally designed for the PC in mind - will be coming in the next two weeks. The premise for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood on the Nintendo DS is quite interesting.
