Heads up Europe! The latest PlayStation Store update is now available. This week, you can download three new dynamic themes coming from LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm and WipEout HD along with a free WipEout HD theme. A brand new downloadable puzzle/adventure game Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos will also debut this week with new demos of FIFA 10, Fat Princess, LittleBigPlanet and Katamari Forever just waiting in line. For PSP owners, you can grab Fate/Unlimited Codes and the demo for Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman!.

Let's have a look at the news that made headlines on our Xbox 360 blog. We've still got Left 4 Dead 2 taking the top spot with the most number of news items released this week, thanks to the constant barrage of updates from Lombardi and the rest of the Valve team. There's also a couple of profile trailers for the ladies of Tekken 6, announcements,updates... But the treat of the week (at least for me) would be modder-extraordinaire Benhecks' resurrection in the scene with the release of his latest concoction, the Xbox 360 Portable Revision 5.

Taking the spotlight in this week's edition of our On Shelves post, the 2K Sports baseball franchise returns in The Bigs 2, which is now out in stores and waiting to be bought by baseball and sports game fans. The Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, and Wii release is accompanied by this Opus Launch trailer, which you can catch after the jump.

The North American PSN update is now available. This week's PlayStation Store lineup has a variety of titles for all gamers. To start the list, you have the downloadable puzzler game Droplitz, a PS1 classic game Mobile Light Force, The BIGS 2 Demo, new add-on contents for High Velocity Bowling and LittleBigPlanet, four downloadable games for the PSP and more.

The European PlayStation Blog was launched earlier, while the US blog still happily spreads the joy around with the goods. This week on the PlayStation Store comes the classic Resident Evil Director's Cut on PSone classics, Sackboy gets more costume packs, and loads of FREE DLC. Bigs is back with another update for REminiscence, the Wii port of Flashback's game engine. It's not perfect yet, but this update features improvements made to the game sounds added in the last update.

Wiibrew developer bigs has once again released a gem of a retro game. This time he released REminiscence, a port of the engine behind Flashback. That's right, Flashback, the platform shooter of 1993 that's been ported to numerous platforms since. Details after the link.
